I'm Back
I'm back ... well, sort of. I'm not making any promises about how often I'll be blogging, but I thought I should just pop in and update for the sake of those of you who still have me on your blog lists!
It goes without saying that it's been a while since I've been here. Much has happened since I last posted in July of '07. Since most of the people who read my blog are also on Facebook, I didn't feel the need to elaborate also about my life's happenings on here. (Not that those "happenings" are in anyway insignificant.) For those of you who have been wondering, marriage has been beautiful and this first year has not been the difficult period of adjustment that many people said it might be. It has been exciting and fun to live with my best friend. I've seen each day how God has created us uniquely for each other. So many of my weaknesses are Craig's strengths, and where we are both weak, God gives grace.
I am also excited to be in the midst of my THIRD year of teaching. These past few years have absolutely flown. They say your third year is the "golden" year, and it has proven to be my best so far! (Let's hope it stays that way.) I am enjoying my class, and I feel as though I have a real bond with them this year. I enjoy seeing them learn, and I am willing to work hard for them in the hopes that they will work hard for me!
You know, I was reading through some old posts before I sat down to write this one. I'm sure three years ago when I began writing this blog, I had high hopes of knowing so much more by now. But, really, three years later, I feel as if I know so little. I think, however, that finding out what you don't know is one of the most important parts of learning, and thankfully, I have had a patient Teacher.
